With a network of eager providers and a staff of enthusiastic volunteers, Gallatin Shalom Zone is committed to the continued success of the following programs:

Achievement in the Making

(AIM) is the umbrella of Shalom youth programs that covers three main areas of service: ALL Services are FREE

AIM After School Program 

Providing mentoring and enrichment for at-risk children 1st- 5th grade, including after school homework help and assistance in a safe, well supervised environment matching students with mentors. The after school program runs from September to May from 2:45p- 4:45p, Monday through Thursday. Applications  can be picked up at the Shalom office.

AIM All Star Day Camp

Providing summer enrichment through Physical Fitness, Literacy, Conflict Management, Team Building, Arts and Crafts, Sports and Games, Alcohol and Drug Prevention. Applications will be available May 1st. Camp is held Tuesday- Friday during the month of June from 8:30a- 1:30p for children who have completed 1st- 5th grade.

AIM Career Development Program 

Educating students ages 14 to 19 on career choices and direction for long term goals.We have developed the program for teens so that they can be better prepared for the job market. Students take part in a career assessment and visioning. Career Development is in the month of  July.

Career Development Application

English as a Second Language 

Offering free, to adults 18+ who want to improve their English skills. This program is offered during the school year and enrollment is open. Classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00am- 11:00a.m. One-on-one tutoring is also available. You can enroll at anytime. FREE

Adult Basic Education 

Offering adults 18+ who want to obtain their GED or just improve their general education. This program is free to any who wish to join and enrollment is open. The ABE class is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. One-on-one tutoring is also available. You can enroll at anytime-FREE

Life Long Learning Center 

Allowing guests the use of computers in the lab along with book checkout from our lending library, and various classes held throughout the year. The LLLC is open to the public Monday- Thursday from 9am-2pm.

Sumner County Collaborative

Over 95 agencies are registered to network, every month at the Shalom Zone, helping agencies connect and better utilize donor dollars. We meet the third Tuesday of every month at 12p.m. Feel free to bring your lunch and coworkers! Holiday months call for time and date changes.
