Back to School Bash

Shalom Zone hosts the Community Saturday Back to School Bash in coordination with our generous community partners. This event offers a fun experience for everyone, plus free resources based on current community need. Typical resources and services offered are basic haircuts/trims for kids, new undies & socks, lunch, school supplies, personal hygiene items, as well as Saturday access to the Shalom Zone library and computer lab.

Hygiene Pantry

Open Wednesdays, 10am - 2pm

In partnership with Nashville Community Resource Center, and thanks to generous donations from community organizations, Shalom Zone is pleased to offer FREE essential hygiene items to all Sumner County residents!

Hygiene Pantries provide consistent and free access to hygiene and cleaning products for households that may struggle to afford essential items – like shampoo, soap, toothpaste, feminine hygiene, diapers, laundry detergent and more.
Sumner Countians may visit the Hygiene Pantry once a month; must be present to collect items.

Please bring photo ID, proof of residency, and documentation verifying guardianship for any children in the household for whom you are requesting items.

Street Feed

June & July

Street Feed provides grab and go meals to children 18 years of age and younger every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 6 locations across Sumner County.

In addition to providing food, we offer hope, support, a human connection, and referrals to other community resources.
