Sneakers for students K-12th grade
Once a quarter, Shalom Zone hosts Community Saturday in coordination with our generous community partners. These events offer a fun experience for everyone, plus free resources based on current community need. Typical resources and services offered are haircuts for kids, lunch, school supplies, shoes for kids, personal hygiene items, as well as Saturday access to the Shalom Zone library and computer lab.
Hygiene Pantry
Open Wednesdays, 10am - 2pm
In partnership with Nashville Community Resource Center, and thanks to generous donations from community organizations, Shalom Zone is pleased to offer FREE essential hygiene items to all Sumner County residents!
Please bring photo ID, proof of residency, and documentation verifying guardianship for any children in the household for whom you are requesting items.
Street Feed
June & July
Street Feed provides grab and go meals to children 18 years of age and younger every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 6 locations across Sumner County.
In addition to providing food, we offer hope, support, a human connection, and referrals to other community resources.
Kicks 4 Kids
Every child deserves to know the joy of receiving a new pair of tennis shoes!
We collect new sneakers in all sizes for Sumner County K-12 Students. Sneakers are distributed at our Spring Community Saturday event. Last year, over 400 pairs of shoes were distributed to local students. This need continues to grow, and your donations are crucial!
Donated shoes can be dropped off at Shalom Zone during regular business hours.
